The “SeoulTrain,” Al Kim is known for his funky rock style. Upon graduating from UCLA, Al Kim found himself in the critically acclaimed band Sketches of Ellis. This was the first of his six bands that landed in Music Connection Magazine’s Top 100 band list. Al developed a style that fit all types of diverse music. He has toured with Dawn Robinson, formerly of the chart topping R&B group En Vogue. Since then, Al continues a busy gigging schedule with a diverse group of artists and bands. Al has performed thousands of shows all over the country and over 3 continents, continuing his preaching of the pocket.
